About Naeem
Healthcare systems around the world are designed around what institutions can supply. Not what populations need. That starting point traps systems in a vicious cycle: reactive care, rising demand, workforce burnout, and resources that never stretch far enough. Naeem Younis has spent 25 years building the thinking, the methods, and the tools to reverse it.
Naeem's career began in finance and corporate analysis, where he learned to interrogate whether decisions actually create value. He then spent a decade leading large-scale technology and business transformation programmes across telecoms, financial services, and retail, working at the intersection of data, strategy, and operating reality. When he moved into healthcare, a persistent frustration took shape: leadership teams kept making the same structural mistakes because they were organising around institutional habit rather than the needs of the people they served.
That frustration became a thesis. The thesis became Strasys.
Naeem founded Strasys in 2015 and has since grown it into a globally recognised, multi-award-winning Decision Intelligence firm with operations spanning the UK, Middle East, and Asia, including advisory work supporting national healthcare transformation programmes. Working directly with boards and executive teams, he created the Strasys Decision Intelligence Platform, built over a decade of R&D, combining advanced analytics, generative AI, digital innovation, behavioural science, and systems thinking to help leaders make better use of finite resources, deliver improved outcomes, and build healthier, fairer communities that create lasting value for society.
These are not reports or dashboards. They are decision infrastructure, licensed to healthcare organisations, that stays long after the advisors leave.
Naeem has personally led the reimagining of children's healthcare with Alder Hey, shifting from a hospital-centric model to an integrated system designed around the life chances of children and young people, impacting over 2 million children and creating a blueprint now informing national policy. He has redesigned multi-billion-pound health systems, working across primary, community, and hospital care settings, to refocus on population need. And he has supported the mobilisation of over £1.3bn of investment for service and infrastructure transformation.
Strasys has partnered with over 40 healthcare organisations, governments, and health systems globally. The firm has won the HSJ Gold Award 2024, HealthInvestor Public/Private Partnership of the Year, and was named a Financial Times Leading Management Consultancy in 2026.
Naeem is a Fellow of the RSA with executive education from MIT Sloan, INSEAD, and London Business School. He co-founded Mission Ready Leaders to develop the next generation of health sector leadership. He continues to coach and mentor executive teams and boards, helping leaders build the confidence, clarity, and capability to govern boldly and drive sustainable change.
